Christopher Dorner

Federal court records filed Monday show that a former LAPD officer accused of killing three people tried to escape to Mexico through a friend.

The documents, which include the arrest statement filed with the U.S. District Court on Monday, reports CBS station KCBS in Los Angeles.

"There is probable cause to believe that Dorner moved interstate and foreign commerce, and traveled to California to Mexico with the intention to avoid prosecution," the researchers said in the documents of the U.S. Marshals.

The records detail the age of 33 as a result of movements in the alleged murder of Monica Quan and her fiancé, Keith Lawrence, February 3 and Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain on February 7

Dorner is sought as a suspect in all three crimes.

Officials say Dorner tried to escape to Mexico through an unknown worker who lives in the Big Bear area.

Last week, the authorities followed the movements associated with, and inspected the property, which was discovered by Dorner burned around the truck.
