Presidents Day

 Presidents Day

Presidents Day is the time allotted for the legacy of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln to celebrate and remember all the presidents of the United States (POTUS), who made our nation great. Legislation during the administration of Lyndon Johnson moved to the legal norms anniversary Washington from February 22 to the third Monday in February. The purpose of the Uniform Monday Holiday Bill in 1968 had three-day weekend for federal officials to create for celebrating four national holidays: Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Columbus Day.

Happy birthday of our 16th president of the railway junction only 10 days from the helicopter cherry trees, in some states, it has chosen to celebrate the birthday on the 22 th, while the other to honor all past POTUSes. In 1971, President Richard Nixon, that some clarity, saying that President's Day would be observed as a single federal holiday - every third Monday in February - to honor all past presidents.

We were at the Lincoln Memorial and Mount Vernon, it is clear why we are giving these presidents of most of our affection. In the end, the father of our country and the other surviving United. But every president - so that large and small - have contributed to the republic and made America what many of us believe that they are exceptional. So let our gratitude be universal, and includes not only the current commander in chief, but those patriots who defended our freedom and in the third century America as a nation.
