Jodi Arias

Jodi Arias took the witness stand Monday in a surprise entry into force of the jury that he had killed her ex-boyfriend - claims was self-defense - and to say that he plans to commit suicide afterwards.

"Did you murder Travis Alexander on June 4 2008?" said attorney Kirk Nurmi.

"Yes, I have," said Arias. "He attacked me and I defended myself."

Arias went to the event from her upbringing Alexander brought home the day he killed her to say. He is responsible for killing a 30-year Alexander, a successful businessman and motivational speaker, what prosecutors described as a jealous rage when he discovered his plans to travel to Mexico to another woman.

Authorities said the victim Arias stabbed and cut 27 times, slit her throat from ear to ear, and shot him in the forehead, and left the bloody body in the bathroom of his suburban Phoenix home five days later it turns out to friends.

The process began in early January with details of Alexander Arias and scorching romance after meeting at a conference in Las Vegas in late 2006. He claims he dated for about five months, and then broke out, but continued to see each other, the sex until the day of his death. He first told the police that he knew nothing about the murder, and later they blamed masked intruders. He finally admitted his involvement, but claimed self-defense.
